"That's a nice blouse. Would look better on my floor?" |
Snarkster extroardinaire and research encyclopedia for Tony's books. He frequently suggests to her they should have a romantic fling. Just to make the paparazzi happy, you know. And not because she fills out the backend of a skirt nicely.
"The usual and let's not mention the lipstick on my...everything." |
Owner of the bar Tony frequents the most and (un)fortunate(?) recipient of many invitations to swanky events because psh who doesn't invite their bartender to rich people charity parties? |
"Am I going to be in the Enquirer revealed as Bigfoot next week?" |
Writers gonna snark, gotta keep that wit sharp. Tony's got a lot of respect for what Tsukasa used to be. What he's become? Not so much. Tsukasa has time to kill and articles to fill and hey Tony's a good target. In another life they'd probably make a good Scooby gang. Or super robot vigilantes, look it's 50/50.
"Alright Literatti: superheroes. Spandex? Or grunge paramilitary?" |
Worker at Chuuya's bar and Tony's very own personal critic. They play pool and Tony slings writing ideas at him. Some of them may be purposely bad to mess with the guy. |
"You're looking ravishing as always. No rainstick today?" |
Fellow writer. It's like having an therapist, but you simultaneously can't stand her and check the bikini issues of US to see if she features. |
"Two shots. 140 proof. Loser vomits all over the lobby. Probably." |
That bodyguard who attends the same scenes as Tony and they just can't seem to get along. Frequently drinks Tony under the table. |
"Yeah, it's like Yahtzee. You throw the dice and lose a couple hundred." |
The photographer who originally took Tony's author pictures before he hit it big. They've kept in touch as Tony's moved up in the world and George's son has grown up and moved on to college. Probably the most "normal" relationship in Tony's life, up to and including him dragging George around on the ocassional barhopping nights. It's guy bonding, okay. |
"Keep calling me that and I'm buying your daughter a furby for Christmas." |
A kid from Tony's past. Frank's been in and out of the military and has a young daughter to boot. Tony's glad to see he's managed to make good despite the hardships placed in his life. |
"Pretty sure that soup kitchen gave me tetanus. What's next?" |
A friend Tony made during his Year of Hell that Shall Not Be Named. She's cool. One of the coolest people he knows in fact. Hassles him to not sit in his swanky penthouse critiquing romcoms on Netflix all day, but get out and be good for the community. It's a work in progress. |
"You're like my own personal hemorrhoid." |
Guy who ended up marrying Tony's bff and crush. Then got her killed. They don't have the best of relationships. Tends to use Tony as his therapist. Tony's still not sure what he's getting out of this besides his pockets a couple hundred lighter every time they meet. |
"When I said I'd put in blood, sweat and tears I wasn't thinking literally." |
Proliferate artist who works with Tony on multiple projects related to his IPs. Tony's got a lot of respect for Kasen's dedication to the arts. In return Kasen gets on Tony's back about being lazy and pandering to the lowest denominator with his own work. |
"Our working relationship is great. It's like a constant death battle." |
Indie game developer who is currently working with Tony to turn on of his novels into a video game. Seto being an vocal critic of Tony's books on social media and the meeting of two egos of planetary mass makes for an...interesting...business association. Interviews and announcements made by the duo tend to be popcorn worthy affairs. |
"No law against classifying your house as a zoo and owning a dolphin. Sayin'." |
The daughter of Tony's lawyer. Helps out on his cases and Tony tends to cart her around as his on-site legal counsel at conventions and charity events. Has yet to encounter anything she doesn't have an opinion on as far as Tony's aware. |
"Water chasers are for chumps, kid. He's good, he's fine. We've got this." |
Rockstar and actor. Currently starring in a television series based off one of Tony's novels. Tony gives him character tips and helps him run the PR circuit. ...Obviously this leads to constant shenanigans. Obviously. |
"Store brand condoms? Really? Where's the self-respect?" |
Son of a friend and a model. Seeing as Zelos and the folks currently on polite speaking terms Tony's been wrangled in to at least check periodically the kid isn't dead. It's like babysitting except sometimes he gets to stare at hot twenty somethings when he visits, hmm. |
"How's the mad science? Still ethically and legally questionable?" |
Researcher who works in the same laboratory complex as a friend of Tony's. Tend to run into eachother when Tony's visiting. Tony brings coffee. They snark. |
"It's one missed day of school. I know the truancy officer." |
Actor and another star in an adaption of one of Tony's novels. The trend of bad role modeling does not make an upward turn here. |
"Next time— hot pokers?" |
In Tony's cell under 1-800-GOODTIMES. |
"Plenty of girls have quinceañeras on their 20th." |
Daughter of Tony's deceased bff and Jack. It's complicated. |
"So what's the plans for the night? Big date? Rave?" |
Went through the same school system as Tony where Tony got the task of being Wesker's guide/mentor for his first few months as part of a buddy program. It sort of stuck and they have an awkward sort of maybe how does one do the thing family relationship with Tony seeing Wesker as a younger brother. So you know as such Wesker can do no wrong and so forth. |
"Keep drunkenly hanging on me and everyone's going to think you're my hooker." |
IRS agent who audited Tony once. Tony has since taking to calling him up and dragging him out barhopping. Cannot hold his liqueur. Tony refers to him as his cheap date. Occasionally George joins in the barhopping and fratboy shenanigans ensue. May have been an incident with Nisha, a lot of alcohol and the city centennial fountain late at night. No comment. |

"If someone wanted your opinion they'd ask for it. So what's your opinion?" |
In questionable caffeine fueled obsession Tony will find Hiro's youtube channel at 2am (the hour of all great thinkers) while looking for answers to the tech he's going to eventually start remembering how to build. Being 2am and an adult of questionable decisions and maybe kind of freaking out, Tony will approach Hiro to work out some of the robotics he's remembering and Shenanigans ensue. |
"Hey. Kid. Get off my internet lawn." |
When you have memories of the same weirdos in spandex, but the facts just aren't lining up. Damn canon fanboys. It's called artistic license??? Bucky will be Tony's regular Marvel fact checker and they may or may not eventually design a motorcycle at Tony's eccentricity because "superheroes travel in style". |
"Just what I always wanted: more market competition." |
When your social media shitposting inspires authorial """flashbacks""" in another. What can Tony say? He's got a gift. |
"A regular Snow White. Do the squirrels do a dance number when they help you?" |
A fan and also receiver of the Carter Scholarship. Tony will be making maybe not the best impression... |
